In a constant effort to grow and learn, I am continually reading articles and books, listening to podcasts, lectures, sermons, and speaking with older pastors. We must pour fresh things into our minds and lives on a regular basis to avoid becoming stagnant. Here is something I learned this past week.

When I was in college I had a jail ministry in Walhalla, SC.  One Saturday morning after I had preached and concluded the message, a man approached me and told me he enjoyed it.  He said that he was “a seeker of the truth” and he took a little from here and a little from there in his efforts to find the truth.  I told him he didn’t need to look any further than the Bible he was holding in his hands.   John 17:17 “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.”   It seems that man down through history has been seeking “the truth.”  Here is a great article about truth I read from our friends over at World Evangelism. The Truth Green Road Sign Against Dramatic Sky, Clouds and Sunburst.
