“The month of July was full of activities”

Letter, August 2018
The month of July was full of activities. Emily and I attended a marriage retreat with our mission board Vision Baptist Missions.
This is an annual retreat, but, of course, we only get to go if we are stateside. We enjoyed the time there and the teaching that we received. One thing I love about our mission board is that they are constantly helping their missionaries strengthen their marriage and family relationships!
Ian and the girls. Ian was the mascot for VBS this year.
Our family also was able to participate in some activities in our local church. Our church had a Vacation Bible School and Emily and I were able to teach one of those classes, and design skits for that week. I also started a four-week series on Wednesday nights, teaching on the subjects of our identity in Christ, Christian character, service, and discipleship.
I started traveling a lot in the month of July to give updates in some supporting churches and present our ministry to a few new ones. I visited churches in Florida, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Thank God for His protection and good services.
July is also a special month for us, as on July the 5th Bethany celebrated her 10th birthday! It is so hard to believe that our oldest daughter is ten and only three years away from being a teenager.
Pray for protection as I travel and preach in churches.
Pray for us as we prepare to move in November.
Pray that God would be preparing peoples hearts to receive the Gospel message in Argentina.
